A Centane police constable has received praise after a Facebook post highlighting her excellent service went viral.
Constable Azile Nxokwana was recognised for treating members of the public with patience, respect and professionalism while assisting them at Centane Police Station.
Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Vuyisile Ncata commended the 30-year-old officer, saying her conduct sets a high standard for policing and shows the importance of serving communities with dignity.
Nxokwana joined the South African Police Service in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology and Sociology from Walter Sisulu University.
Police say the positive feedback from the public is a reminder that good service can strengthen trust between communities and law enforcement.
