According to the EFF, the support includes a washing machine, an industrial dryer and a solar power system.
The party says the solar system will provide the home with a reliable source of electricity.
It also says it supplied groceries until Christmas and provided the medication requested by the old age home.
The EFF says it also bought a fridge for the facility.
These items form part of what the party describes as additional support for Ekuphumleni Old Age Home.
Old age home confirms debt payment
Mr Peter, the director of the board at Ekuphumleni Old Age Home, confirmed that the EFF paid the R3.5 million debt.
Peter thanked the party for what he described as its consistency and commitment.
He said some organisations make promises but fail to deliver on them.
