The South African National Taxi Council (Santaco) says taxi services will operate as normal on Tuesday despite planned anti-illegal migration protests.
Santaco president Motlhabane Tsebe said commuters will be able to travel safely to work, school, hospitals and other destinations.
Government has also confirmed that 30 June is a normal working day and not a national shutdown. Motorists have been urged to plan ahead as protests are expected in some areas.
